\"RushOfFools.jpg\"<\/span>When renowned pianist Jim Brickman releases his new album, Ultimate Love Songs: The Very Best Of Jim Brickman<\/em>, on January 27, Christian rock band Rush Of Fools will be celebrating with him.
\nThe band, whose self-titled debut garnered the band numerous Dove nominations as well as ASCAP’s 2008 Song of the Year Award for “Undo”, recorded their song “Never Far Away” with Brickman, and it was the first single released from his upcoming album.
\nBrickman had heard the song and wanted the band to record it with him, and they were thrilled to accept. The song debuted on the mainstream Adult Contemporary chart tied with Leona Lewis’ “Better In Time” for the song most added to radio station playlists. This is a great opportunity for Rush of Fools to reach a mainstream audience.<\/p>\n


\nThe band’s single “Lose It All,” from their sophomore release Wonder Of The World,<\/em> is the most added single for Christian hit radio.
\nLooking back through some posts, I remembered that back in July, the band had their trailer stolen<\/a>, with almost all of their equipment and merchandise like t-shirts and CDs that they sold at shows. We’re talking more than $60,000 in loss and not enough insurance to cover it. The band’s response was to pray for the thieves and trust God would take care of everything.
\nThat kind of loss can put a band out of business, but not Rush of Fools. They went on with borrowed equipment and a week later, police recovered their trailer<\/a> and the majority of equipment and merch. Just proof that God will honor the right attitude.
\nRush Of Fools is gearing up for their first headlining tour launching February 20th with special guests Jimmy Needham, Sarah Reeves and Joy Lippard.
