\nThe song was written by Sligh and Clint Lagerberg, who also co-wrote the single “Empty Me”, from Sligh’s debut Christian album Running Back To You.<\/em>
\n“Clint and I wrote this song on a Monday, recorded the demo on a Tuesday and that Wednesday Flatts’ label put it on hold,” Sligh recalls in a press release. “To have Rascal Flatts be the very first artist to cut a song I’ve written is pretty unbelievable.”
\n“Here Comes Goodbye” goes to radio next week, and will appear on Rascal Flatts’ upcoming new album, Unstoppable<\/em>, out April 7. Adding to the fun, Rascal Flatts is asking fans to design the cover for the album.
\n“Arise,” Sligh’s follow up to “Empty Me,” is currently on the Christian music charts.
