\nThe awards offer 20 categories for fans to cast their votes for favorite Pop\/Rock, Country, R&B, Hip hop\/Rap, Adult Contemporary and Contemporary Inspirational artists.<\/p>\n


\nThe Contemporary Inspirational nominess are the trinity of CCM: Casting Crowns (pictured), MercyMe and Third Day. All three of those bands are worthy of the win.
\nBut you can also cast a vote for Christians who are mainstream artists, including Daughtry (Adult Contemporary and Pop\/Rock Band\/Duo\/Group) and Jordin Sparks (Adult Contemporary). And I’d put Carrie Underwood (Country Album and Favorite Country Female Artist nominee) in the “Christians in mainstream music” category.
\nIn non-fan voting, other artists with ties to Christian music include The Jonas Brothers and Paramore, both T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist nominees.
