The results were determined by live audience voting and a panel of judges, and the story cites Vessels of Worship as the crowd favorite. The national finals will be held on November 13 at Planet Hollywood in Kuala Lumpur.<br \/>\nThe GBOB contest included local heats from all around the world, and the finals feature bands from Croatia, Serbia, Germany, Malaysia, Pakistan and everywhere else you can think of. I thought it was worth noting that a Christian band from Malaysia made the finals; I&#8217;m always intrigued by how Christian music fits into the mainstream music scene in other parts of the world. The US is one of the few places where we separate Christian and mainstream music into their own communities.<br \/>\nThe GBOB world finals are scheduled for December 14 and 15 in London. The winner gets a $100,000 prize, a statuette, and worldwide promotion.<br \/>\nThere are two local qualifying heats left in the US, on October 20 in Anaheim, California and October 23 in Covington, Kentucky.
