Smith, and Steven Curtis Chapman tweeted their support for MercyMe and The Generous Mr. Lovewell.<br \/>\nThe excitement isn&#8217;t just about the music.<br \/>\nMercyMe is helping people all across the country &#8220;love well&#8221; as they partner with radio stations to put the project&#8217;s message into action.<br \/>\nThe band has been asking radio listeners to nominate a family or individual in need; the radio station chooses the winner, and MercyMe provides contributions towards meeting their needs. The winner also gets a special acoustic set from the band and free concert tickets.<br \/>\nListeners in Las Vegas, for example, nominated a woman who lost her job last year, was still unemployed, and had a car that was barely functioning. Without the woman&#8217;s knowledge, Las Vegas&#8217; SOS Radio arranged for her 14-year-old car to be repaired and she was surprised to find MercyMe driving her newly revamped car to her doorstep.
