Baltimore Ravens all-star Ray Lewis and other National Football League players are rallying around a ten year-old boy, La\u2019Shaun Armstrong, whose mother, in desperation, drove him and his siblings into the Hudson river. Now that his family is gone, the boy’s new extended family includes many players providing fun activities, financial support, and lots of love. Ray Lewis, who has offerred to mentor the boy, said, “I looked at him and told him, \u2018I\u2019m here for you man. I can\u2019t replace what you\u2019ve lost. But i can tell you that I\u2019m here to go forward with you.\u201d While the mainstream media focuses on what Tiger Woods is tweeting, it’s nice to see all-star players going out of their way to help others.<\/p>\n
