Whether your day has passed or is coming up, we all will age one more year this year and onward. We cannot turn back the clock, but we can turn on grace as we move ahead. Here’s a prayer for Grace-full Aging:<\/p>\n

Oh, Lord, I am getting older.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t feel exactly comfortable,<\/p>\n

and when I look in the mirror,<\/p>\n

I see someone different, someone I don’t entirely know.<\/p>\n

Yet, I enjoy this gift of life you have bestowed upon me,<\/p>\n

and I am grateful for the many blessings<\/p>\n

of the past and of today.<\/p>\n

Help me cultivate more grace,<\/p>\n

more delight, and more hope as I age.<\/p>\n

And bring your wisdom and guiding hand<\/p>\n

to me as I move farther along<\/p>\n

into this adventure that is life!<\/p>\n

In Jesus’ name I pray<\/p>\n
