Dear Heavenly Father,<\/p>\n

Yesterday I saw a person who seemed troubled.<\/p>\n

We did not exchange a word, but I saw within weary eyes,<\/p>\n

a very weak light.<\/p>\n

I do not know what this person is enduring,<\/p>\n

nor do I have a name or an address.<\/p>\n

But, Lord, I know that you know,<\/p>\n

And I also know that your love works everywhere,<\/p>\n

even in places and people unknown to me.<\/p>\n

Please be with the person I saw, Lord.<\/p>\n

Bring rest, renewed vitality, and wisdom.<\/p>\n

Rekindle the light I saw so that it burns brighter.<\/p>\n

And let your peace settle all around, like a cloak of comfort,<\/p>\n

Like Your nurturing strength.<\/p>\n

Amen<\/p>\n
