They think it&#8217;s deeply offensive.<\/p>\n<p>How offensive? Check out Catholic League President Bill Donohue&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/insidecatholic.com\/Joomla\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=4646&amp;Itemid=48\">new piece on Inside Catholic<\/a> parodying the argument that pro-life Catholics could back Obama with clear consciences. Donohue&#8217;s article is a line-by-line send up of a recent piece in the <a href=\"http:\/\/ncronline3.org\/drupal\/?q=node\/2058\">National Catholic Reporter<\/a> by an Obama supporter entitled &#8220;I&#8217;m Catholic, staunchly anti-abortion, and support Obama.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Donohue compares that position to a staunchly anti-racist Catholic supporting David Duke.
