He sees it as a probable tacit endorsement for Romney. As a former <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2007\/06\/10\/AR2007061001335_pf.html\">Focus on the Family newsman<\/a>, Brody would be one to know.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I guess my first question is, &#8220;Why come out with this statement now?&#8221; The skeptic in me wonders if this is a way of helping Romney without endorsing him. Let&#8217;s be real. For Evangelical Dobson to endorse a Mormon would be a tough pill to swallow for many of his loyal listeners so maybe this is code for &#8220;Vote for Romney.&#8221;<br \/>\nI guess James Dobson won&#8217;t be getting any calls from a possible McCain administration if that ever happens. Not that James Dobson really cares about that. I&#8217;m sure millions of Evangelicals feel the same way that Dr. Dobson feels, but let&#8217;s be clear: not all Evangelicals will jump ship on McCain.
