Stay tuned for my interview with her on food, healthy eating, and what keeps her motivated.&nbsp; But meantime, check out this healthy breakfast recipe she developed for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.californiadriedplums.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">California Dried Plum Board<\/a> (she&#8217;s a paid spokesperson for the Board).<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"muesli.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/84\/import\/muesli.jpg\" class=\"mt-image-left\" style=\"margin: 0pt 20px 20px 0pt;float: left\" height=\"162\" width=\"214\" \/><\/span><u><b>Bircher Muesli with Dried Plums<\/b><\/u><br \/><i>Makes 4 servings<\/p>\n<p><\/i><u>Ingredients:<br \/><\/u>1 cup coarsely grated unpeeled apple<br \/>1\/2 cup rolled oats<br \/>1\/2 cup steel-cut oats<br \/>1\/2 cup chopped raw natural almonds<br \/>1\/2 cup raw sunflower seeds<br \/>1\/2 cup (about 3 ounces) quartered California pitted dried plums<br \/>1 1\/2 cups apple juice<br \/>Grated zest and juice of one orange<br \/>Sliced bananas and yogurt, for serving<\/p>\n<p><u>Directions:<\/u><i><br \/><\/i><br \/>\nIn a large bowl, combine apple, rolled and<br \/>\nsteel-cut oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, and dried plums. Add apple juice,<br \/>\norange zest and orange juice; mix well. Refrigerate, covered, overnight or up<br \/>\nto 3 days.
