{"id":927,"date":"2010-02-18T12:49:26","date_gmt":"2010-02-18T12:49:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/freshliving\/2010\/02\/what-are-your-comfort-words.html"},"modified":"2010-02-18T12:49:26","modified_gmt":"2010-02-18T12:49:26","slug":"what-are-your-comfort-words","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/freshliving\/2010\/02\/what-are-your-comfort-words.html","title":{"rendered":"What Are Your Comfort Words?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, as one of my ideas for ways to ease a stress flare with a <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/freshliving\/2010\/02\/how-to-do-a-self-care-blitz.html\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;self-care blitz,&#8221;<\/a> I suggested filling your head with &#8220;comfort words,&#8221; positive, calming words that, if you concentrate on them, can chase away toxic, anxious, or painful thoughts and feelings.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the short list I posted yesterday:<\/p>\n<p>calm<br \/>peace<br \/>soothe<br \/>soft<br \/>open<br \/>smooth<br \/>relaxed<br \/>rested<\/p>\n<p>What can we add?&nbsp; I&#8217;d love to compile a big list of words and make them into a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wordle.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wordle<\/a> word cloud that we can all share and turn to when icky things rear their heads.<\/p>\n<p>Please post your word ideas in the comments!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Like what you see?
