Hawaiians once celebrated “Makahiki” (mah-kah-HEE- kee), an ancient tradition in Decemberish devoted to thanking the earth for its bounty. A beautiful idea. Instead of restricting ourselves or being harsh with stringent resolutions, to express gratitude for all we have now. To nourish our bodies with fresh, healthy foods and thankful blessings. I’m going to plant that seed amongst my other intentions for listening better, being more kind, aware, and aligned with the sweet, divine yes. <\/p>\n
