It&#8217;s a struggle&#8211;in a small-shopping-decision sort of way. I&#8217;ve got criteria:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp;It inspires&nbsp;me whenever I look at it<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; It doesn&#8217;t annoy me in any way&#8211;since I look at the thing all day long it&#8217;s got to be a friendly experience; no &#8220;almosts&#8221; here<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Clean design with open white boxes to write in<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Reinforces some sort of value I&#8217;m trying to cultivate&#8211;awareness, kindness, feeling love, etc.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve often gone for the very cool mini <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fridgedoor.com\/quotcal.html\">calendars by Quotable Cards<\/a> with words of wisdom like: &#8220;When words are both true and kind, they can change our world.&#8221; &#8212; Buddha<br \/>\n<span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/freshliving\/quotablecal.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"mt-image-none\" height=\"201\" alt=\"quotablecal.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/84\/import\/assets_c\/2009\/12\/quotablecal-thumb-200x201-10438.jpg\" width=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I drool over the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Illuminated-Rumi-2010-Wall-Calendar\/dp\/1602372691\">Illuminated Rumi calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<span class=\"mt-enclosure mt-enclosure-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Illuminated-Rumi-2010-Wall-Calendar\/dp\/1602372691\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"mt-image-none\" height=\"200\" alt=\"rumi2010.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/84\/import\/rumi2010.jpg\" width=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Last year I was given the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yogajournal.com\/shop\/books_and_calendar\/55\">Yoga Journal calendar<\/a>, which is always nice.<\/p>\n<p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"mt-image-none\" height=\"256\" alt=\"YJcal.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/84\/import\/YJcal.jpg\" width=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parallax.org\/\">Thich Nhat Hanh calendar<\/a> is lovely and sweet<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"mt-image-none\" height=\"210\" alt=\"TNHcal.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/84\/import\/TNHcal.jpg\" width=\"210\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And this year my final choice is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1602373027\/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&amp;pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&amp;pf_rd_t=201&amp;pf_rd_i=1602372772&amp;pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&amp;pf_rd_r=1HXH7DCR1Z3FAEMR2ED4\">Pema Chodron<\/a> calendar because I just love her straight-forward, BS-free, wisdom about acceptance, and friendliness, presence, and love. It&#8217;s got quotes like this: <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"mt-image-none\" height=\"160\" alt=\"pemacal.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/84\/import\/pemacal.jpg\" width=\"160\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When we commit to staying right where we are, then our experience becomes very vivid.&#8221; (February)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When inspiration has become hidden, when we feel ready to give up, this is the time when healing can be found in the tenderness of pain itself.&#8221; (May)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.&#8221; (December)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you have an annual calendar replacement?
