\"Frisbee.jpg\"<\/a><\/span>I just got back from a doctor’s office where I enjoyed an ancient (I think from 2006) issue of Real Simple<\/a>.  In the magazine was a terrific tip that I thought was worth sharing as we head into prime outdoor meal season.<\/p>\n

The idea was to go to the drugstore or Target\/Wal-Mart\/etc and pick up a bunch of inexpensive colored Frisbee discs.  The more colors you can find, the more festive your picnic blanket will become.<\/p>\n

Here’s the clever part–snap your paper plates inside<\/i> the Frisbees, and voila!  You have a far sturdier surface on which to enjoy heavy pasta salads, burgers, and corn on the cob.  Not to mention a major after-lunch Ultimate Frisbee tournament just waiting to happen….<\/p>\n
