Here are 25 ways to start.<\/p>\n<p><u><b>How to Stay Happy on a Rainy Day<\/b><\/u>&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>1.&nbsp; Listen to songs about rain, starting with <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/freshliving\/2009\/05\/favorite-songs-about-rain.html\">Valerie&#8217;s fabulous playlist<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>2.&nbsp; Make a cup of tea and breathe in the steam.<\/p>\n<p>3.&nbsp; Stare out the window and daydream.<\/p>\n<p>4.&nbsp; Close your eyes and listen to the tappity tap of raindrops.<\/p>\n<p>5.&nbsp; Go outside and find a good splashin&#8217; puddle.<\/p>\n<p>6.&nbsp; Notice how the rain darkens garden soil and greens up garden plants.<\/p>\n<p>7.&nbsp; Clean your kitchen and enjoy its sparkle.<\/p>\n<p>8.&nbsp; Slow down.<\/p>\n<p>9.&nbsp; Don a brightly-colored rain slicker, boots, and\/or umbrella.<\/p>\n<p>10.&nbsp; Watch a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/Entertainment\/Movies\/2009\/01\/Top-10-Comfort-Movies.aspx\">comfort movie<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>11.&nbsp; Play a board game.<\/p>\n<p>12.&nbsp; Bake bread.<\/p>\n<p>13.&nbsp; Bake brownies.<\/p>\n<p>14.&nbsp; Write letters or emails to friends you miss.<\/p>\n<p>15.&nbsp; Invite neighbors over for a rainy day happy hour.<\/p>\n<p>16.&nbsp; Organize your bookshelves and pick an unread book to start.<\/p>\n<p>17.&nbsp; Take a soothing lavender bath.<\/p>\n<p>18.&nbsp; Paint a clay pot with a cool, colorful design.&nbsp; When it dries, plant herb seeds in it.<\/p>\n<p>19.&nbsp; Set a mason jar outside and measure how much rain is falling.<\/p>\n<p>20.&nbsp; Stand on a beach and watch the rain fall on water.<\/p>\n<p>21.&nbsp; Visualize the rain cleansing everything it touches.<\/p>\n<p>22.&nbsp;
