According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/03\/19\/dining\/19garden-web.html?_r=1&amp;em\">The New York Times<\/a>, it will have 55 varieties of vegetables, including kale, collards, arugula, and chard. There will also be a patch of berries, herbs like cilantro and Thai basil, and two beehives for honey! Twenty-three fifth-graders will help plant the garden and all of the Obamas will be helping with the weeding, &#8220;whether they like it or not,&#8221; says Michelle. <\/p>\n<p>The idea is not only to have fresh food for her family, but to educate kids and parents everywhere about eating real,&nbsp;unprocessed foods that are locally grown.
