This past week, 43-year-old Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman, best known for his role in the Marvel movie “Black Panther”, died at his home in Los Angeles after his battle with colon cancer. But he’s not just being remembered for being a brilliant actor, he’s also being honored for his faith.<\/p>\n
Boseman was diagnosed with colon cancer four years ago, and it progressed to stage IV right before 2020, his family said in a statement. Boseman had not publically spoken about his battle before. During his years of treatment, Boseman continued to perform in films like “Marshall” and “Da 5 Bloods”.<\/p>\n
In 2018, Boseman gave a powerful speech to Howard University’s<\/a> graduating class. In the speech, he spoke about the importance of giving honor to our Creator. He quoted Corinthians 3:6 which says, \u201cAs the Scripture says, I planted the seed, and Apollos watered it. But God kept growing-God kept it growing.\u201d<\/p>\n Other Christian stars like Chris Pratt have offered condolences on social media, and are sending prayers to Boseman’s family.<\/p>\n My prayers go out to Chadwick\u2019s family and loved ones.
