Pepperdine University has inaugurated the \u201cOur Four Angels Endowed Scholarship\u201d in memory of four students who died in a tragic accident on the Pacific Coast Highway in California last October. The new scholarship hopes to support students at Seaver College, the Christian institution\u2019s undergraduate school. In a statement, the university said that the scholarship was established in collaboration with the families of Niamh Rolston, Peyton Stewart, Asha Weir and Deslyn Williams.<\/p>\n

Connie Horton, vice president for student affairs, highlighted the profound impact and enduring legacy of \u201cthese amazing women.\u201d Horton said the scholarship would help the academic endeavors of deserving students, serving as a lasting tribute to their significant contributions to campus life. After the\u00a0deaths<\/a>\u00a0of the four senior students, the university\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0they would be posthumously awarded their degrees. The announcement was made during a prayer service, where Provost Jay Brewster expressed the university\u2019s intention to honor the academic achievements of Rolston, Stewart, Weir and Williams.<\/p>\n
