Jacky Oh, a former cast member of Nick Cannon\u2019s \u201cWild \u2018N Out,\u201d has tragically passed away at 32 years old. A BET Media Group spokesperson confirmed her death in a statement, saying, \u201cWe are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented \u2018Wild N\u2019 Out\u2019 family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed. Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the \u2018Wild N\u2019 Out\u2019 cast throughout five seasons.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued, \u201cMore importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children. The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone,\u00a0Nick Cannon,\u00a0and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Oh’s cause of death was due to “complications of cosmetic surgery.” Per the report, on May 30, Oh, born Jacklyn Smith, underwent a “gluteal augmentation procedure” and “underwent the procedure without any complications.” She was prescribed the antibiotic ciprofloxacin, the opioid oxycodone for pain relief, and ondansetron to prevent nausea and vomiting after the surgery.<\/p>\n

The MTV star developed a headache and was advised to take ibuprofen at a post-surgical appointment and stop taking the ondansetron. The report says she started to “feel like her head was burning” on May 31 and began to have trouble speaking, prompting her aunt to contact emergency services. Oh became unresponsive before arriving at the ER and was later pronounced dead. The report noted that she “did not use tobacco, alcohol, or drugs” and had previously undergone breast surgery successfully.<\/p>\n

Jacky Oh shared three children with her longtime partner and famed YouTube star D.C. Young Fly. He wrote in a statement, \u201cWe thank everyone for their well wishes and ask for privacy during this difficult time.\u201d BET\u2019s statement was additionally posted on \u201cWild \u2018N Out\u2019s\u201d Instagram page with a photo of Jacky Oh.<\/p>\n
