In addition to Matthew\u2019s details, Luke informs us that \u201cno one could heal her\u201d (Luke 8:43) and Mark adds \u201cshe had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ever wonder what the prescribed treatments were for continuous uterine bleeding during Jesus\u2019 time? The good news is that the Babylonian Talmud shared a list of procedures for curing this woman\u2019s condition. The bad news is that most of those \u201ctreatments\u201d were awful\u2014and ineffective.
