In today’s USA Today Faith and Reason column<\/a>, Cathy Lynn Grossman discusses President Obama’s nomination of Solicitor General Elena Kagan<\/a> to the Supreme Court. If Kagan’s nomination is accepted, Grossman points out, there will be six Catholic justices, three Jewish justices (Kagan is Jewish) and no protestant Christian justices on the Court. This, of course, has the potential to be controversial in a country that is populated by a majority of people who claim to be protestant Christians. <\/p>\n
