I watched this video from I Am Second<\/a> (a movement that is described as one that is “meant to inspire people of all kinds to live for God and for others”) with mixed emotions. On the one hand, this young actress appears to have a very strong sense of who she is – as an artist and in terms of her faith. Viewed through one lens, her devotion is a beautiful and inspiring thing. And yet, I can’t imagine having all of this figured out at such a young age. Truth be told, I can’t imagine having it all figured out at my<\/i> age. This leaves me wondering how she will view this video when she is 16…or 25…or 65. It also raises the question: How devout can\/should children be? <\/p>\n
