The moment we greeted one another in the great room of the house we shared with a dozen or so fellow wanderers I sensed something in her gentle spirit that was warm and endearing. As the weekend progressed and I learned <a href=\"http:\/\/www.katierice.com\/_\/Bio.html\">more about Katie<\/a>, I was captured by her courage, her honesty and her dedication to following her heart even when it leads her to places that stretch her beyond her comfort zone.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>That&#8217;s my kind of girl&#8230;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I didn&#8217;t know she was a muscian until we ventured into a quiet corner and she played a song for me &#8211; a melodic, heart-felt Christmas song called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.katierice.com\/_\/Sweet_Night.html\">Sweet Night<\/a>.&nbsp;She was kind enough to allow me to post the song here to kick off the Christmas rush with a gentle reminder of what the season is about &#8211; a mother, a father, a baby and the beginning of something remarkable.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do and that it becomes a Christmas staple for you and your family.
