This friend, who is at least agnostic (possibly atheist), posed an interesting question during the course of our dialog. He wrote:\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"webkit-indent-blockquote\"><p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\">&#8220;So, at what point does believing become poor judgement?&#8221; When do you say, &#8220;Well obviously God isn&#8217;t going to help here?&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\">Later in the conversation he remarked:<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"webkit-indent-blockquote\"><p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\">&#8220;Well the question then begs, where does faith end and common sense prevail? And does the moving line in the sand, and the ability to pick and choose what&#8217;s wrong and right based on your own decisions, make you any more or less your own person at the end of the day?<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"webkit-indent-blockquote\"><p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\">Remember, the Bible clearly states thou shall not kill, but also clearly states that children who disobey their parents should be stoned to death.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"webkit-indent-blockquote\"><p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\">We pick and choose which parts of the Bible, which parts of our lives, we wish to live by.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<blockquote class=\"webkit-indent-blockquote\"><p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\">Faith or no faith your decisions, good or bad, are yours.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"webkit-indent-blockquote\"><p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\"><br \/><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: 'lucida grande'\">These are interesting questions. Penetrating statements. Thoughts that are worthy of contemplation and discussion.
