That unconditional love is ridiculous.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"webkit-indent-blockquote\"><p><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Made me think about how easy it is for us humans to bring our own crap to the table when it comes to thinking about and interacting with God.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Assuming the love of God for oneself exclusively and judging others as unworthy is, in my book, the height of spiritual arrogance &#8211; especially in a faith that is built on the notion of God as love. But spiritual arrogance comes in many shapes and forms. Like when we assume that God loves everyone <span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-style: italic\">but<\/span>\u00a0us. Or that God loves noone at all. I&#8217;ve been guilty of all of it at one time or another in my life.
