Today is the day. \u00a0It feels right to share this work of poetry from west indies poet, Derek Walcott, in the midst of his quite lengthy works, this poem, short and concise and full of the richness of forgiveness comes as a welcome breeze in the explorations of our daily chaos as the world turns. \u00a0Take this moment to ground into the feeling beyond the words and worlds of your space and melt into the flowing river of love&#8217;s greatest gift.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>The time will come<br \/>\nwhen, with elation<br \/>\nyou will greet yourself arriving<br \/>\nat your own door, in your own mirror<br \/>\nand each will smile at the other&#8217;s welcome,<br \/>\nand say, sit here. Eat.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>You will love again,\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>you will love again,\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>the stranger who was your self.<br \/>\nGive wine. I will ignite my light!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I won\u2019t shy away from commitment, I will practice showing up for myself<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I won\u2019t\u00a0focus on the negative, I will accentuate the positive<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I won\u2019t worry about what might happen, I will celebrate what does<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I will have a miracle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I won\u2019t talk about war, I will feel peace.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I won\u2019t talk about what isn\u2019t working.\u00a0I will experience what is.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I won\u2019t complain about what people don\u2019t do.\u00a0I will appreciate what they do.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Cura Et Labore \u201cwith care and work\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I am going to allow myself to be uplifted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">And be willing to see change.
