My book <em>Grace Sticks<\/em> will release Nov. 1\u2014and I feel like I&#8217;m having another baby, only without all the gore.<\/p>\n<p>When you buy a copy, you&#8217;ll also be supporting the work of Malala Yousafzai, the 16-year-old Pakistani advocate for girls&#8217; education who was shot in the head by the Taliban in 2012. Malala is now back in school and has started a non-profit organization to support the education of girls in places where girls seeking an education for themselves face cultures of violence and intimidation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>With the first 1,000 copies of <em>Grace Sticks, <\/em>every penny of the author proceeds will go towards the Malala Fund.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Consider buying a few copies as Christmas presents or for your next book club project.
