Today is momentous because I sent off the manuscript for GRACE STICKS to my editor. Another big note of thanks to fellow saint and sinner Michael Frost for his gracious foreword which he managed to muster seemingly effortlessly under short notice. In addition to being a lovely person, he is a gifted writer. If you don’t know his work, please go and read it. It’s an inspiration for all restless souls who find themselves looking for more.<\/p>\n

If you’re noticing that we have two mental health breaks in a row, congratulate yourself for your observational skills. You are correct. Today marks a second week of single parenting. Next week will be a third. The week after that I’ll be in Tuscany, Italy recuperating with my husband who is on his way there now via Switzerland. (Professors have such difficult lives.)<\/p>\n
