The final massive and laborious edits on a manuscript were calling. (Now I know why so many authors use the expression, &#8220;work of love,&#8221; to describe their finished product.) As I plow through them this morning, I&#8217;ve got singer and songwriter Guy Clark&#8217;s &#8220;Magdalene&#8221; still ringing in my ears: Clark&#8217;s album, <em>Workbench Songs<\/em>, accompanied me on a long day of itinerant chaplain visits this week, and it&#8217;s for all restless souls out there looking for the &#8220;More&#8221; they still haven&#8217;t found.<\/p>\n<p>I first heard singer and songwriter Clark perform at Princeton&#8217;s McCarter Theater back in my seminary days. &#8220;Magdalene&#8221; is an appeal to the wanderlust in all of us: <em>Move with me, Magdalene.
