I would retort that the difference here is that I’m very aware that a Jesus who plays the dating game is very much the product of my own tongue-and-cheek humor and nothing more. I’m not sure the same could be said of those on a mission to reconstruct Jesus based on the Gnostic Gospels’ presentation of Him.<\/p>\n– Then on Friday I got a voice-mail message from the director of the Atlanta Speech School, the premiere school in our town for children with learning disabilities; with a highly trained teaching staff, state-of-the-art curriculum and low teacher-to-student ratio for individually tailored learning plans, the school can offer only a few available slots each year for prospective new students.\u00a0 “Our committee was in unanimous agreement that Samantha would be well served here and we would like to offer her a position in the four-year-old class,” went the message. When I heard that, I cried. Tears of joy.<\/p>\n
