The Fox host quoted one Arkansas journalist\u2019s assessment that Mr. Huckabee had \u201ca thin skin, a nasty vindictive streak, and a long history of imbroglios about questionable ethics.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cDo I have a mean streak? Do I occasionally get upset? Of course, I do,\u201d Mr. Huckabee replied. But he insisted that the gifts he had received posed no problem. Mr. Wallace found it odd that Mr. Huckabee and his wife of more than 30 years had signed up in 2006, as he was about to leave the governor\u2019s mansion, for a \u201cwedding\u201d registry so friends could help them furnish their new house. The former governor replied that his wife\u2019s \u201cfriends from church and high school\u201d had merely wanted to hold a \u201chousewarming\u201d party \u2013- but that gift registries allowed no such category.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Finally, a $400 fondue set to match the $400 haircut.  Do I smell some Nancy Reagan new china issues coming?
