He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.” The film did pretty well at the box office considering a near-total mainstream blackout. However, (also per Wikipedia) “the DVD release of Gosnell was an instant top seller for Amazon, beating out award-winning films like A Star is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody and Wal-Mart.com sold out its entire stock within a matter of days.”

Next Friday (March 29) comes the true story of Abby Johnson’s transformation from a Planned Parenthood clinic director to a pro-life activist.

And coming soon, Roe v. Wade which offers a decidedly pro-life take on the landmark 1973 case that made legal abortion the law of the land across America. IMHO, the producers have a compelling story to tell. Per Wikipedia: “(Norma) McCorvey revealed herself to the press as being “Jane Roe” soon after the decision’s issuance and stated that she sought an abortion because she was unemployable and greatly depressed. In the 1980s, McCorvey asserted that she had been the “pawn” of two young and ambitious lawyers…who were looking for a plaintiff with whom they could challenge the Texas state law prohibiting abortion.” I actually booked Norma for a talk show on SiriusXM’s Catholic Channel during her pro-life activism years and I think she would approve of the producers’ take. On the other hand, I think they would be wise to omit Fox News and clip from the Justice Kavanaugh hearings from the trailer as opinions about both only muddy the water and obscure the story they’re trying to tell.

<iframe title="Roe v.
