Weekend Follow-ups.<\/strong> Some positive news about the two TV films and one theatrical movie I wrote about her last week<\/a>. Based on positive reaction to its first two Signed, Sealed, Delivered<\/em><\/strong> films (following its weekly series run on Hallmark Channel), Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has ordered up at least two more installments of the charming postal detective drama. They’re set to air in the fall and winter. Meanwhile, production has begun on\u00a0Love Finds You in Valentine<\/i><\/span><\/strong>, the third edition of UP TV’s Love Finds You<\/em> romantic-anthology franchise. This one will star Diogo Morgado (who played Jesus in Son Of God<\/i>), Michaela McManus (of NBC’s Aquarius<\/em>), Lindsay Wagner (aka The Bionic Woman<\/em>) and Ed Asner (aka Lou Grant<\/em>). Based on the popular book by Irene Brand, the film will air in 2016. Finally, the faith-themed Revolutionary War adventure Beyond the Mask<\/em><\/strong> scored with theater audiences last weekend. The film received a 94% approval rating from Rotten Tomatoes voters and, combined with strong on-demand sales, topped $1 million at the box office.<\/p>\n

A worthy cause.<\/strong> Gordon Gray, producer of uplifting movies like the recent Kevin Costner film McFarland USA, <\/em>in real life\u00a0<\/em>is currently fighting for the lives of his daughter, both of whom are struggling with a\u00a0rare degenerative brain condition called Batten disease.\u00a0 It’s\u00a0 heartbreaking story but there is hope.
