Leaving aside the question of whether <em>Family Guy<\/em> (as has been alleged) is anti-Christian, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_oFcJlcUazA&amp;NR=1\">it&#8217;s just plain-old mean<\/a> and, to me at least, isn&#8217;t funny.\u00a0 I gave up on watching it years ago.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Flag of My Father<\/em> celebrates faith and patriotism.<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>The movie, about an Army nurse&#8217;s struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder, stars William Devane, John Schneider and GiGi Erneta who, <a href=\"http:\/\/bighollywood.breitbart.com\/gerneta\/2011\/05\/10\/g-i-film-festivals-flag-of-my-father-patriotic-feature-about-faith-forgiveness-and-family\/#more-473064\">writing for Big Hollywood<\/a>, describes the it as being about <em>&#8220;faith, forgiveness, healing and family.&#8221;<\/em> The film debuts tomorrow (Friday) at the GI Film Festival in Washington, D.C. (This can either be very good or very bad  depending on how the writers define <em>&#8220;honest.&#8221;<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>BTW, speaking of Michael Chiklis, here he is in his pre-<em>Shield<\/em> days in the opening sequence of one of my favorite cop shows ever. <em>The Commish<\/em> combined intelligence, action and warmth in a way that you don&#8217;t see too often these days.
