“What If…”<\/em> (in theaters Aug. 5th and 7th)
\n<\/strong>Fifteen years ago, before there was The Chosen<\/strong>, there was\u00a0<\/i>Dallas Jenkins<\/strong>\u2019 first faith-based film called\u00a0WHAT IF…<\/a><\/i><\/b>. This special Fathom Event features cast a cast reunion and bonus conversation along with the well-remembered movie. Jesus Calling: Stories of Faith<\/em>\/Season 4 (begins streaming Aug. 7th on UP Faith& Family)<\/strong>
\nNew episodes will be available every Thursday. Empowering self-love advocate, mental health coach and inspirational writer Faith Broussard Cade<\/strong> will host the new season. Young Washington<\/em> (in theaters next July 4th)
\n<\/strong>In a novel collaboration, Angel Studios<\/strong> and Wonder Project<\/strong> have announced they are partnering to release the upcoming film Young Washington<\/strong><\/em> next Independence Day.\u00a0 The film will be directed by Jon Erwin (Jesus Revolution<\/em>, I Can Only Imagine, House of David<\/em>)<\/strong> and will begin filming later this summer. In an industry first, tickets are available for purchase one year in advance of the release date via Angel\u2019s ticketing platform.<\/p>\n

Young Washington<\/em> chronicles the origins of America\u2019s first president. After making a tremendous mistake that triggers the French and Indian War, an ambitious 22-year-old George Washington must face his failures and find the courage to become the leader that will forge a nation.<\/p>\n

The Senior (<\/em>nationwide theatrical release set for September 19, 2025)
\n<\/strong>Angel has also announced that \u00a0the anticipated sports drama The Senior<\/em> from Wayfarer Studios<\/strong> will debut in theaters next year.\u00a0<\/strong>Directed by Rod Lurie (The Contender, Straw Dogs<\/em>)<\/strong> and written by Robert Eisele (The Great Debaters<\/em>)<\/strong>, the is based on the true story of Mike Flynt (Michael Chiklis)<\/strong> who, 35 years after getting kicked off his college football team, decides to return to the gridiron for his senior year of eligibility and prove to his family, former teammates and himself that it\u2019s never too late to tackle your dreams. Mary Stuart Masterson<\/strong>, Brandon Flynn<\/strong>, James Badge Dale<\/strong>, and Rob Corddry<\/strong> round out the cast.<\/p>\n

\nA Christmas List of Blessings<\/em><\/strong> (Great American Christmas 2025)
\nGreat American Media<\/strong>, which operates the Great American Family cable network <\/strong>and Great American Pure Flix s<\/strong>treaming service, has announced that production is underway on A Christmas List of Blessings<\/em>. The Original Movie starring Shae Robins (Destined At Christmas, Destined At Christmas: Once More, Love In Aruba<\/em>)<\/strong> and Christopher Russell (When Hope Calls<\/em>, Peppermint And Postcards, A Vintage Christmas<\/em>)<\/strong> will premiere as part of Great American Christmas 2025.<\/p>\n

In A Christmas List of Blessings<\/em>, a children\u2019s book illustrator (Robins) struggling with creative burnout finds unexpected inspiration when she comes across a little girl\u2019s Christmas gift list. Unlike other children\u2019s Christmas lists, Caroline writes her list of heartfelt prayers to Jesus, requesting blessings for her family, friends, and community \u2013 including one asking that her recently widowed dad (Russell) finds happiness again. Touched by Caroline\u2019s list, Natalie begins to secretly fulfill each blessing. In turn, she is inspired to create a new character, Adeline the Angel, to illustrate the ways Jesus quietly works through everyday people to answer prayers with love and grace.<\/div>\n
