Michelle Williams of Destiny&#8217;s Child\u00a0will take the female lead as Mary Magdalene. Incubus lead vocalist Brandon Boyd is confirmed for the role of\u00a0Judas Iscariot. JC Chasez of NSYNC will play Pontius Pilate.\u00a0John Rotten Lydon will play\u00a0King Herod.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1396691567342_6262\">Tickets for the first 22 shows, New Orleans through Edmonton, will go on sale beginning Friday, April 11 at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jesuschristsuperstar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.jesuschristsuperstar.com<\/a><b>. <\/b>All subsequent market on-sale dates will be announced locally in the weeks to come.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1396691567342_6265\">The North American arena productions come on the heels of successful UK and Australian arena tours that began in the UK in September 2012 and commenced in Australia in May 2013.<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1396691567342_6268\"><i>\u201cJesus Christ Superstar<\/i> began life as a rock album,&#8221; recalls Andrew Lloyd Webber,&#8221; &#8220;&#8230;probably because nobody believed back in 1969 that you could present a stage musical about the last days of the life of Jesus Christ.\u00a0 I shall never forget its first live performance in the Civic Arena, Pittsburgh on July 12th 1971.\u00a0 Of course <i>JCS<\/i> subsequently became a legit theatre stalwart, but I, personally, have always hankered after seeing it again in the arenas where it started.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1396691567342_6271\">Tim Rice adds \u201cIn 1971 Andrew and I were thrilled by the first-ever <i>Jesus Christ Superstar<\/i> tour of the United States&#8230;We certainly did not imagine then that 43 years later we would be witnessing another America-wide tour of our first big hit show. We are delighted and grateful that enthusiasm for<em> Superstar<\/em> has been maintained over the years and this new production presents the work in its most powerful format &#8211; as a true rock experience.\u201d<br \/>\n___<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\" align=\"center\"><strong>Coming UP.<\/strong> UP TV continues to build its <em>UPlifting Entertainmen<\/em>t brand. The network has scheduled the UP Original Movie\u00a0<b><i>Where\u2019s The Love?<\/i><\/b><i> <\/i>for<i> <\/i><b><i><b>S<\/b><\/i><\/b><strong>aturday, May 3 at 7:00 PM (ET)<\/strong>. The romantic drama, filmed in Atlanta, is about married TV talk show hosts (Lamman Rucker and Denise Boutte) who dispense relationship advice even as their marriage starts to crumble.<b>\u00a0 <\/b>Trey Haley (<i>The Man in 3B<\/i>, <i>Note to Self<\/i>) directs the film from a script by Cas Sigers-Beedles (UP\u2019s <i id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1396691567342_49008\">Sugar Mommas<\/i>, <i>Love Will Keep Us Together).\u00a0 <\/i><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_7_2_1_1396691567342_2816\">Meanwhile,\u00a0in Chilliwack (outside of Vancouver, Canada), production has begun on another UP Original Movie. The romcom <b><i>Match Made in Heaven <\/i><\/b>stars Samaire Armstrong (<em>Resurrection<\/em>) as a senior minister at a crossroads both professionally and in her love life.\u00a0The film is produced by Front Street Pictures\u2019 Harvey Kahn (UP\u2019s <i>Far From Home<\/i>) and executive produced by Michael M. Scott and Libby Beers.\u00a0 Scott also directs the film from an adapted script by Cara J. Russell.<\/p>\n<p>The lighthearted film, based on Beth Pattillo\u2019s <em>Heavens to Betsy, <\/em>tells the story of Reverend Casey Hart (Samaire Armstrong) and her match-making parishioners who don\u2019t necessarily believe that a woman should be a minister.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the start, we were really impressed by this funny, moving look behind-the-pulpit tale based on real-life minister and author Beth Pattillo\u2019s novel as adapted by Cara J.
