That score pretty much matches my reaction and, honestly, I’ve only cooled to it since. The more I think about it, the less I like it. So, it’s likely to earn its money back — but imagine how much better it would do if more people, you know, actually liked it.<\/p>\n JESUS <\/em>milestone.<\/strong> The 35th anniversary of the 1979 docudrama JESUS<\/em> is being celebrated tomorrow (4\/1) with Cinedigm and Mission Home Video’s release of a fully restored and re-mastered, HD-quality Blu-ray and DVD edition with an all new symphonic score.<\/p>\n <\/em>Releasing under the title The JESUS Film<\/em>, the Biblically-accurate film <\/em>is based on the Gospel of Luke. It’s described as the most-watched film in history and is said to have been translated into over 1200 languages. (I didn’t even know there were that many languages but, as it turns out, there are<\/a>.)<\/p>\n Over the last 35 years, the film has been viewed billions of times and is recognized by The Guinness Book of World Records as the \u201cMost Translated Film\u201d in history.<\/p>\n
