Test screenings are reportedly scoring off the charts. The trailer has just been released.<\/p>\n<p>The film tells the story of <strong>Colton Burpo<\/strong>, a small town pastor&#8217;s child whose near-death experience during an emergency appendectomy involved an apparent encounter with the afterlife. The book, written by Colton&#8217;s father <strong>Todd Burpo<\/strong> and <strong>Lynn Vincent<\/strong>, has been translated into more than 30 languages.<\/p>\n<p><em>Heaven is for Real<\/em> stars <strong>Greg Kinnear<\/strong> as Todd Burpo,<strong> Kelly Reilly<\/strong> as Colton&#8217;s mom <strong>Sonja<\/strong> (Colton&#8217;s mom) and young <strong>Connor Corum<\/strong> as Colton.\u00a0<strong> Randall Wallace<\/strong> (<strong><em>Secretariat<\/em><\/strong>) directs <strong>Chris Parker<\/strong>&#8216;s screenplay. The film is produced <strong>Joe Roth<\/strong> (<strong><em>Oz the Great and Powerful<\/em><\/strong>) and <strong>Potter&#8217;s House Pastor T.D.
