Here&#8217;s hoping the media gatekeepers have gotten the very clear message that their audience is done with the shaming and division and are seeking content that offers tolerance for differences, understanding and forgiveness of past wrongs, gratitude for the blessings we have received and faith and hope in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Toward that end, here are some things to look forward to.<\/p>\n<p>First, <a href=\"https:\/\/scroogepodcast.com\/\"><strong><em>Scrooge: A Christmas Carol<\/em><\/strong> podcast is back<\/a>. The four-part audio drama presented by <strong>Hope Media Group<\/strong> and <strong>Compassion International<\/strong> that debuted last year (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/faithmediaandculture\/2023\/11\/scrooge-becomes-a-christmas-podcast-classic-in-theaters-trolls-band-together.html\">and which I reported on here<\/a>) seems destined to become an annual tradition. Narrated by <strong>John Rhys-Davies (<em>Lord of the Rings<\/em>, <em>Indiana Jones<\/em>)<\/strong>, the production stars <strong>Sean Astin (<em>Lord of the Rings<\/em>, <em>Rudy<\/em>, <em>Stranger Things<\/em>)<\/strong> as Scrooge. <strong>Highly recommended.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>Meanwhile, <strong>Fathom<\/strong> has announced that, due to strong ticket sales for the film&#8217;s original five-day run, it has extended the theatrical run for <em><strong>A Drummer Boy Christmas Live: The Cinematic Concert Experience<\/strong><\/em> featuring the popular music duo <strong>for KING + COUNTRY<\/strong> and that the concert film will also open in more countries around the world (including Canada, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia). <strong>The production will now remain in theaters at least through December 12th with possibly more dates and locations coming.<\/strong> Check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fathomevents.com\/events\/for-king-country-a-drummer-boy-christmas-live\/\">ticket info here<\/a> and the trailer below.<\/div>\n<p><iframe title=\"A Drummer Boy Christmas: LIVE - for KING + COUNTRY - Concert Film (Official Trailer)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FbdmcBDna8E?start=18&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div>\n<div><strong><em>Discovering the World of Jesus: Ancient Treasures from the Holy Land<\/em> is coming to Pullman Yards in Atlanta starting December 3, 2024 for a limited time.<\/strong> The city is the first stop on a nationwide US\u00a0 tour designed to utilize modern science to bring authentic ancient artifacts from the time of the <strong>New Testament<\/strong> to life like never before. The interactive display combines archaeology and technology to unveil 350 genuine artifacts from the period, including what is thought to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/ossuary\">ossuary<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/James,_brother_of_Jesus\"><strong>James the Just<\/strong><\/a> who many believe to be the brother of<strong> Jesus<\/strong>. The international theatrical rollout will also include Brazil, Mexico, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Poland, Philippines and India, among other countries.
