The movie is based on the award-winning family-friendly stage musical <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tickettonashville\/\"><em><strong>Ticket to Nashville<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.<br \/>\n______<\/p>\n<p><strong>Angel Studios will release Director Alejandro Monteverde&#8217;s <em>Cabrini<\/em> in theaters on Friday, March 8th. <\/strong>The biopic shares the story of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Frances_Xavier_Cabrini\"><strong>Francesca Cabrini (aka Mother Cabrini)<\/strong><\/a>, an audacious Italian immigrant and Catholic nun who championed the cause of better education and healthcare for poor immigrants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cristiana Dell\u2019Anna (<em>Gomorrah<\/em>)<\/strong> stars in the title role, leading a cast that includes <strong>John Lithgow (<em>Killers of the Flower Moon<\/em>, <em>Third Rock from the Sun<\/em>)<\/strong>, <strong>David Morse (<em>The Green Mile<\/em>, <em>St. Elsewhere<\/em>)<\/strong> and <strong>Giancarlo Giannini (<em>Quantum of Solace<\/em>)<\/strong> as <strong>Pope Leo XIII<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Angel Studios COO Liz Ellis<\/strong> says \u201cFrancesca Cabrin<strong>i<\/strong> is one of the most inspiring and influential figures in modern history, and yet few know her story.
