Shot on location in Spain and Mexico, the film is executive produced by <a href=\"http:\/\/features.beliefnet.com\/faithmediaandculture\/2011\/10\/mpower-pictures-founder-ceo-steve-mceveety-talks-about-his-new-film-snowmen-and-being-a-christian-filmmaker.html\">Steve McEveety <\/a>whose film credits include <em>Braveheart, We Were Soldiers<\/em> and, of course, <em>The Passion of the Christ<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cI am thrilled to finally share this film, which I am so dearly committed to,\u201d says Director Tim Watkins.\u00a0 \u201cThis amazing story begins with the history behind this miracle, and how through the Virgin of Guadalupe, a Catholic identity was formed and grew in the Americas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Funds raised at the event will help Catholic Charities continue in its mission to serve Washington D.C.\u2019s neediest communities through 63 programs in over 48 locations across the District and surrounding Maryland Counties.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u201cWe are excited to raise funds for Catholic Charities while sharing this amazing story of the Virgin of Guadalupe with audiences,\u201d says Movie to Movement CEO and Founder Jason Jones. \u201cMovie to Movement aims to support events and films that send positive messages to Hollywood, and we look forward to accomplishing that goal through this endeavor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The event will be held at Washington D.C.\u2019s historic Warner Theatre from 7:00 \u2013 9:30 P.M. (ET) and will feature prominent speakers including Fr. Leo Patlinghug. The EWTN host is an expert on subjects related Mary and is the founder of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gracebeforemeals.com\/\">Grace Before Meals<\/a>, a movement aimed at bringing families back to the dinner table.
