The move brings him back to the Sony family.<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\">Schwartz began his Hollywood career at <strong>Fox Searchlight<\/strong> where he developed a key understanding of the indie and festival circuit. He then spent 19 years at <strong>Sony Pictures<\/strong> where he worked with A-list talents such as <strong>Adam Sandler<\/strong>,<strong> Seth Rogan<\/strong>, <strong>Kevin Hart<\/strong>, <strong>DeVon Franklin<\/strong>, <strong>Judd Appatow<\/strong>, <strong>Phil Lord<\/strong> and<strong> Chris Miller<\/strong>. At Sony he also took the helm of the marketing department for their indie <strong>Screen Gems<\/strong> theatrical label where he helped grow the division to the most profitable label for Sony. He developed a unique and strategic grassroots approach to marketing such successful films as <em><strong>Heaven is For Real<\/strong><\/em> (still the No. 2 faith film of all time), <em><strong>The Vow<\/strong><\/em> (Screen Gems&#8217; No. 1 movie all time), and the festival favorite <em><strong>Easy A<\/strong><\/em>. Most recently Schwartz worked on DeVon Franklin\u2019s faith film <strong><em>Breakthrough<\/em><\/strong> for Fox.
