1. A saint’s story headed for theaters. <\/strong>Filmed in Europe (in English),\u00a0 Restless Heart: The Confessions of\u00a0 Augustine<\/em> , which tells the epic story of\u00a0 the inspiring saint, is being prepped for a fall release. Says Pope Benedict XVI: “We hope that many who watch this inspiring human drama will allow themselves to be found by the Truth and in return also find Love.”<\/p>\n

2. October Baby<\/em> expands.<\/strong> 190 news theaters are set to begin showing the uplifting film about forgiveness and moving on. The film stars Rachel Hendrix as a young woman who, as an infant, survived an abortion and embarks on a quest to find her birth mother.\u00a0 John Schneider and Jasmine Guy also star. The film opened in about 400 theaters last month and has performed strongly. <\/strong>Expansion cities include Boston, Buffalo, Des Moines, Detroit, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, New Haven, Philadelphia, St. Louis and many others. 3. New in theaters this weekend: Touchback<\/em> starring Kurt Russell, Brian Presley and Christine Lahti<\/strong><\/p>\n

Synopsis:\u00a0 <\/strong>Touchback tells the story of Scott Murphy (Brian Presley), a former high school football star who sustained an injury that ended his promising career and eventually relegated him to the life of a struggling farmer and family man. Faced with a series of severe setbacks, Murphy has begun to rethink his life. But as he reaches a point of deep despair, he\u2019s mystically transported back to his glory days. Given a second shot at destiny, he seeks counsel from Coach Hand (Kurt Russell) and a classmate named Macy (Melanie Lynskey), whom he had never noticed before. In the end, Murphy comes once again to a critical choice \u2013 a crossroads where he will have to choose what ultimately matters most in life.<\/em><\/p>\n
