1. \"Click<\/a>New graphic novel tells the story of Christmas.\u00a0 <\/strong>From the Apostle Arts website<\/a>: <\/strong>Founded in 2011 by Billy Tucci, Evan Archilla, and Dr. Jason Peet, Apostle Arts is the publisher of Billy Tucci\u2019s A Child is Born. <\/em><\/p>\n

Evan\u00a0Archilla, grandson of Lost Battalion hero Lt. Colonel Eliel Archilla (featured in Tucci\u2019s Sgt. Rock epic), first met Billy Tucci in Austin, Texas in 2010, where the two struck up an immediate friendship. \u201cWe were having dinner and I asked Billy if he felt that The Lost Battalion was his \u2018Magnum Opus,\u2019\u201d\u00a0Evan\u00a0recalled. \u201cIt was then that he told me of his passion to write and draw A Child Is Born. I can\u2019t explain it in earthly terms, but there was something in Billy\u2019s idea that called to me, an \u2018invitation\u2019 to be a part of something larger than either one of us could comprehend.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Within weeks, Tucci returned to\u00a0Texas to discuss the project with Archilla and Dr. Peet, and Apostle Arts, LLC was formed. \u201cWhat was amazing was just how in tune with each other we were about what type of comic book we wanted to read come Christmas,\u201d Dr. Peet added, \u201cand it soon became very apparent that we all needed to see this become reality.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

In a world of superheroes, it might seem a bit out of the norm to release a Christmas comic book, but Tucci knows that such a \u201cleap of faith\u201d will bring in new consumers who\u2019ve never shopped at comic book stores before. After all, \u201cA Child Is Born is not just another Christmas story\u2026it is THE Christmas Story.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
