He did not rescind his ban, but that did not stop prayer for taking place.<\/p>\n<p>In his remarks at Ground Zero, <a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/GMA\/video\/obama-reads-psalm-46-911-ceremony-14492510\" target=\"_blank\">President Obama read Psalm 46<\/a>. Former President George W. Bush, who presided over the U.S. reaction to the 9\/11 attacks, <a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/GMA\/video\/president-bush-speaks-911-memorial-14492757\" target=\"_blank\">read from a letter written by Abraham Lincoln<\/a> in 1864 to a mother who lost five sons during the Civil War.
