I love them both and don&#8217;t want them to hurt.<\/p>\n<p>I also just read about a U.S. soldier who turned himself after killing 16 people in an Afghan Village, mostly women and children, for no apparent reason.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve never been able to shake the belief that truth and love will always ultimately win, but in the meantime, my heart can cry a boat load of tears and ask, Why the horribleness and hurt?<\/p>\n<p>Then I think of people like Christ Jesus or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.louiezamperini.com\/\">Louie Zamperini<\/a>, an Olympic runner turned Army hero who endured brutalities unspeakable and went on, after a conversion under the ministry of the Reverend Billy Graham, to become an inspirational speaker. And, I think of <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/everydayspirituality\/2012\/01\/sex-workers-and-going-to-school.html\">Christ Jesus<\/a> who showed how divine Spirit overcomes the flesh, Love beats hate, and divine Mind gives us the strength to follow through on the winnings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just received a call from a friend who broke off a close relationship.
