There is also a corner where experts comment on their ability to study and learn from evolution while yet holding to a belief in a personal God.<\/p>\n<p>In a video at the exhibit, Genome Researcher <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dnaftb.org\/39\/bio-2.html\">Francis Collins<\/a> said that science can\u2019t answer questions about the meaning of life or our purpose, therefore we have philosophy and religion, which he sees as complementary tools for study.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit compelled me to further think about God creating humane beings, not human beings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGod said: \u201cLet us make man [<em>humane<\/em> being, person, God\u2019s posterity] in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHumane, spiritual beings are incapable of sin, sickness, and death.\u201d\u2014<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/1546988637\">21<sup>st<\/sup> Century Science and Health<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a> Gen. 1:26 (Brackets added by Cheryl Petersen)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Human Origins exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City is fascinating and rather inclusive.
