Prayer in candle light, became the thing to do.<\/p>\n<p>My prayers expressed gratitude, affirmations of good, and the determination<a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/everydayspirituality\/2015\/02\/experience-todays-prayer.html\"> to acknowledge<\/a> that God\u2019s promises are fulfilled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBless the Lord, O my soul,\u00a0and forget not all his benefits, <sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>who forgives all your iniquity,\u00a0who heals all your diseases, <sup>4\u00a0<\/sup>who redeems your life from the pit,\u00a0who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, <sup>5\u00a0<\/sup>who satisfies you with good\u00a0so that your youth is renewed like the eagle&#8217;s.\u201d <strong>Psalm 103: 2-5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The electricity may have been cut off, but God never gets cut off.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The electricity went out for a couple of hours this early morning.
