I could feel a <strong>presence<\/strong> of warmth and sincerity. I grew up in a good family and was a happy child.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more noteworthy is that about ten years later, that warmth and sincerity were given<strong> motion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll tell you how.<\/p>\n<p>When in my twenties, I\u2019d become a full-fledged holiday fan. I made lists. I went to different shopping malls. I compared and contrasted gift ideas. I cooked, I baked. I was busy.<\/p>\n<p>But after a few years, I noticed that it was becoming more difficult to feel warm and sincere.<\/p>\n<p>To remedy this, as is my habit, I prayed. I gave myself what I call, a mental treatment. I didn\u2019t treat myself with disdain for falling prey to the stress that came with all the hustle and bustle.<\/p>\n<p>I treated myself with warmth and sincerity.<\/p>\n<p>Then I noticed something.<\/p>\n<p>That hustle and bustle taught me about motion.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, I\u2019d gotten caught up in <strong>the momentum<\/strong> of commercialism, so to speak. The commercialism wasn\u2019t the point, it was the <strong>movement<\/strong> that had my attention.<\/p>\n<p>So, I experimented in my mind.<\/p>\n<p>I detached the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/everydayspirituality\/2014\/07\/slow-motion-research.html\"> momentum<\/a> from commercialism, threw out the commercialism, and attached the momentum to warmth and sincerity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can\u2019t do that,\u201d I heard in my mind.<\/p>\n<p>But I could.
